Ronald “Ron” J. Fleeson, 80,  of Temperance, MI, died Wednesday, January 24, 2018, in St. Anne Mercy Hospital.  Born August 27, 1937, in Freedom, PA, he was the son of George A. and Mary E. (Hammerle) Fleeson.  A 1956 graduate from Freedom High School, he then married Shirley J. Sturm on April 19, 1958. Ron was in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard for 12 years, and served as a civilian employee of the guard for 5 years.  He was employed by Eaton Corporation  (formerly Aeroquip Corp.) as a Senior Training Specialist for 34 years, retiring in October of 2000. During his employment, he had traveled all 50 states and various countries. He attended Cedar Creek Church, was a life member of Jackson Lodge #17, F.&A.M. and was also a volunteer for Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

Surviving are his loving wife, Shirley; children, Edward (Mary) Fleeson, James (Kimberly) Fleeson, Linda Fleeson, David Fleeson and Susan (PJ) Piotrowski; grandchildren, Brandi, Amanda (Michael), Zachary (Sarah), Nathan, Sydney and Conrad; great grandchildren, Jayden and Olivia.  He was preceded in death by brothers, Carl and Gerald Fleeson and sister, Grace Hamilton.

Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Sunday, January 28, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, January 29, 2018.  Interment will follow at Bedford Memorial Garden.
